Who we are and what do we do?  
WRI India, an independent charity legally registered as the India Resources Trust, provides objective information and practical proposals to foster environmentally sound and socially equitable development. WRI India’s mission is to move human society to live in ways that protect Earth’s environment and its capacity to provide for the needs and aspirations of current and future generations. Through research, analysis, and recommendations, WRI India puts ideas into action to build transformative solutions to protect the earth, promote livelihoods, and enhance human well-being.  
 We are inspired by and associated with World Resources Institute (WRI), a global research organization. Currently, over 150 researchers are working with WRI India in our offices in Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
About the role

The selected candidate will support the WRI India Communications team in ideating and creating designs that are informative and innovative. The selected candidate will also need to champion WRI India's design principles, brand guidelines and product templates.
How your day will unfold:
  • Communication materials for events and workshops, including backdrops, standees, posters, booklets, leaflets, books, calendars, invitation cards and merchandise. 
  • Print and digital communication collaterals such as newsletters, reports, infographics, presentations, brochures, flyers, posters, social media graphics among others.
  • Coordinate with vendors to create impactful infographics and videos. 
Qualifications we seek:
  • Bachelor’s degree in design/communication design with relevant experience of minimum 2 to 4 years.
  • Excellent knowledge of Adobe Suite is a mandate. 
  • Knowledge of data visualization and video editing (Premier Pro) will be an additional plus. 
  • Working knowledge of Canva and Presentation Design is a must.
The Skills We Seek 
  • Possess exceptional design skills, coupled with a methodical approach and keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate clear communication of requirements and a strong understanding of project management principles.
  • Exhibit excellent organizational abilities and effectively handle multiple tasks within set deadlines.
  • Capable of coordinating with diverse team members to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Proficient in supervising vendor work and providing necessary guidance.
 
Salary and Benefits: INR 9,50,000-12,50,000       
Salary shall be commensurate with experience and skills. WRI offers a generous and comprehensive benefits package.            
             
Duration:  1 year (Extendable based on performance and project requirements)        
             
Location:  Chennai, Bangalore

    4. Digital Collaterals: Designs of social media campaigns, emailers, web banners
    5. Presentations/Videos: Experience in designing PowerPoint slides or editing videos would be an added advantage.
